A lot of the people who search for hosting are really trying to get away from WordPress. That is understandable. Every WordPress site is a stack of core software, a theme and a pile of plugins, and each one needs patching. Even WordPress core itself needs urgent security fixes from time to time, and attackers now start probing sites within hours of a fix being published. Most of the time the problem is plugins: Patchstack counted 11,334 new vulnerabilities in the WordPress ecosystem in 2025, 91% of them in plugins, and nearly half were made public before a fix was available. Our sites have no plugins, no database and no admin login on the public site, so that whole class of problem simply is not there.

Common questions

Do you offer hosting on its own?
Hosting comes as part of a Page Forge website rather than on its own. That is what lets us promise fast, secure hosting: we build and look after the site as well as host it. If you want to leave your current host, we move your site across by rebuilding it on our platform, and hosting is then included in your plan from £29 a month.
Can you host my WordPress site?
We do not host WordPress. We move you off it instead, which is usually what people are really after. WordPress core, themes and plugins all need constant patching, and in 2025 Patchstack recorded 11,334 new vulnerabilities in the WordPress ecosystem, most of them in plugins. We rebuild your site without that stack, keep your content and rankings, and the patching stops. See moving off WordPress.
Where will my website be hosted?
On Vercel’s global network, which serves UK visitors from London. Your site is delivered from servers close to the person visiting it, so it loads quickly wherever they are, with an SSL certificate included. You do not need to manage a server, a hosting account or a control panel. We look after all of it.
Will my email stop working when we move?
No. We plan the move so email keeps running throughout. If your email is already with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, it stays exactly where it is. If it lives with your old web host, we move it to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 before the website switches over, so you never lose a message.
Who owns my domain name?
You do. We register it in your name, and it stays yours. If you ever decide to leave us, we will help move it to another registrar for a one-off fee of £25, or you are free to move it yourself. Full details are in our terms of service.
What happens if my website goes down?
With no database, plugins or server software to fall over, there is very little on a Page Forge site that can break. If you ever spot a problem, you call or email us and speak to the person who looks after your site, not a ticket queue. Because every version of the site is kept, a bad change can be rolled back in minutes.
