The challenge
C4C Group (Catalyst 4 Change) are the strategic technology partner for large UK organisations, advising on cybersecurity and human risk, data centre and cloud infrastructure, and technology acquisition. Their whole pitch is clarity, control and smart, independent tech decisions.
The problem? Their old WordPress site was holding them back. It was slower than they wanted and, more importantly, it made it hard and expensive to build the kind of interactive tools they wanted to put in front of clients. For a consultancy whose expertise is technology, a sluggish, restrictive website quietly undercut the message.
What we built
We rebuilt C4C on Astro: hand-coded, fast, and built for search and scale, with a clean multi-page structure covering each of their services.
The real win was what the new stack made possible: bespoke, interactive tools that engage prospects and generate leads, the sort of thing that’s painful to bolt onto WordPress but straightforward on a modern codebase:
- A VMware Licensing Cost Calculator that gives visitors a real answer to a question they’re actively Googling.
- An AI Readiness Assessment, a Human Risk Assessment and an Email Security Assessment, using AI to give each visitor genuinely useful, personalised output.
These turn a passive browser into a conversation: someone gets a helpful result, and C4C gets a warm, qualified lead.
The result
C4C now have a website that loads fast, ranks well, and does something most consultancy sites can’t: hand prospects interactive, AI-powered tools that prove their expertise and capture leads at the same time. Free from WordPress’s limits, they can spin up new tools whenever a new idea (or vendor question) comes along, without fighting their own website to do it.
The best advert for a technology consultancy is a website that is smart technology.
