The Story
Why Page Forge exists

Hi, I’m Nick. I’ve spent more than twenty years in IT, working on everything from infrastructure and cloud to security and support. Alongside Page Forge I run C4C Group, a technology business that serves large enterprise clients. So this isn’t a side hustle or a hobby: it’s built on the same experience that big companies pay a lot of money for.
I started Page Forge because I kept seeing the same thing happen to local businesses. A plumber, a bakery, an electrician down the road would pay hundreds of pounds up front, and then a monthly fee, for a WordPress site that loaded slowly, broke when a plugin updated and needed constant looking after. Half the time the person who built it had disappeared, and the business was left paying for something that didn’t bring in a single enquiry.
That felt wrong. A small business shouldn’t need to understand hosting, domains, plugins or SSL certificates to have a professional website. And it shouldn’t cost a fortune. So Page Forge does it differently: fast, hand-coded sites with everything included, live in about five working days, at a straightforward price. You tell me what you do, and I handle the rest.
I use modern tools, including AI, to draft and build faster. The judgement is still mine: what a trade actually needs, what belongs on the page, and whether it is good enough to publish. That is how a proper site can cost a fraction of a typical WordPress quote without becoming a generated template or a Wix editor you have to live in. You still talk to a person who knows what they are doing.
