Fast, professional websites for Cuckfield’s independents, trades and professionals. Built by a local Mid Sussex designer, live in days, everything included.
Cuckfield has always traded on looking the part, and your website should do the same. Page Forge builds Cuckfield businesses sharp, professional sites that turn a local Google search into a phone call. We’re just down the road in Hassocks, so this is our patch, not a postcode on a map. Everything included, live in about a week, from £99.
It’s a small place with a lot of the right kind of customers: an affluent Mid Sussex village where people pay for quality and check online first. For a trade, a therapist, a shop or a professional working from home, being easy to find and looking credible is most of the battle. A slow or missing website hands that work to a competitor in Haywards Heath or Burgess Hill who simply turned up in the results.
You don’t need to know anything technical. Tell us what you do and where you work; we design it, write it, sort your .co.uk domain and hosting, and keep it running afterwards. We build for businesses right across Mid Sussex, from a Burgess Hill bakery to Sussex builders, so you get someone genuinely local who answers the phone.
On Your Doorstep
Cuckfield grew up as a market town and a coaching stop on the old turnpike between London and Brighton, and by 1820 something like fifty coaches a day were rattling through. When the railway came in the 1840s the local landowners fought off the route, so the line and the growth went to neighbouring Haywards Heath instead. Cuckfield kept its quieter, older character as a result. Today the A272 skirts the centre, which is part of why the high street still feels like a village rather than a through-road.
There is real history to lean on. Holy Trinity church has Norman foundations and a 13th-century body, and the Queen’s Hall, built in 1897 for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, still houses the parish council, library and museum. Just outside the village at Whitemans Green, Mary Ann and Gideon Mantell identified some of the first iguanodon fossils ever recorded, back in 1822, and there is a monument to it today. The cuckoo, fittingly, is the village emblem.
For a local business, none of that is just trivia. It is exactly the kind of specific, true detail that makes a website read as genuinely local, and Google increasingly favours content that clearly belongs to a place over generic copy that could be about anywhere. We write your site so it sounds like it comes from Cuckfield, because it does.
