When someone needs a plumber, electrician or builder, they search on a phone and call the first firm that looks professional, local and easy to reach. If you have no website, or a half-finished Facebook page, that call goes to someone else. Page Forge builds tradespeople a proper website that wins the call, without you lifting a finger.

You do not need to know anything technical. Tell us what you do, where you work and how customers reach you. We handle the design, the words, your .co.uk domain and the hosting. One page, built to load fast on a phone, where almost every trade search happens. Live in about five working days, from £99, with everything included and a real person in Sussex to call when you need a change.

A good tradesperson site does three jobs in the first few seconds. It says what you do in plain English. It shows you are the real thing: Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, or whatever registration your trade uses, plus insurance and a few genuine reviews. And it makes ringing you a single tap. We have done this for real firms, including BW Electrical in Hassocks, Oilfire Heating in Uckfield and Sindall Building Contractors. If you want a page written for one trade, we also have dedicated sites for electricians, plumbers, builders, heating engineers and the rest of the list below.

The mistakes that cost jobs are nearly always the same. A phone number you cannot tap. Accreditation buried at the bottom. A slow page that is still loading while the customer has already called the next name on Google. Areas left vague, so a homeowner three streets away is not sure you cover them. We build the opposite: fast, honest, and pointed at the person who is ready to book. Google and ChatGPT both favour that kind of page, because it answers the question in the first screen instead of making them hunt.

What your website needs to bring in work

call

Tap-to-call on a phone

Almost every trade search happens on a mobile. Your number sits as a big, thumb-friendly button, so calling you takes one tap rather than pinch-zooming a tiny line of grey text.

verified

Registrations up front

Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, FENSA, whichever badge your trade actually holds. We put it near the top, because that is what a nervous homeowner checks before they ring.

map

The towns you actually cover

We spell out your patch in real place names, not a vague “Sussex and surrounding areas”. Nearby searches find you, and time-wasters an hour away do not clog the phone.

reviews

Reviews that do the talking

A few genuine Google or Checkatrade quotes, placed near the enquiry point, beat any sales copy. We give them a clear home on the page.

photo_camera

Photos of real jobs

A boiler you fitted last week, a kitchen you wired, a roof you just finished. Real work photographs convert better than stock images of someone else’s van.

Set up for Google and AI

Fast pages, clear answers and structured data so Google can rank you and ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude can quote you when someone asks for a local tradesperson.

Three steps. That’s it.

No jargon, no committees, no six-week timelines. We get your area businesses online fast.

Common questions

Do tradespeople actually need a website if they have Facebook?
Yes. Facebook is useful for people who already know you. A website is what Google and AI assistants show when a stranger searches “plumber near me” at seven in the evening. You do not own Facebook, you cannot control what sits next to your posts, and an algorithm change can bury you overnight. The site is yours, laid out the way you want, and it is where the ready-to-book jobs come from.
I have never had a website. Is it complicated?
Not for you. We do all the technical work. You tell us about your trade and your area. We design, write and launch the site, then look after it. No logins, no plugins, no jargon. If you can send a text, you can get a site from us.
Will my website show up on Google?
That is the point of it. We build every site to load fast and be found in local searches, and we can set up your Google Business Profile so you appear on Google Maps when people nearby search for your trade. Dedicated SEO starts at £99 if you want to push harder.
Can ChatGPT recommend my trade business?
Only if your site is readable to it. AI assistants name two or three businesses when someone asks for a local electrician or builder. We structure your content, add question-and-answer pairs and make sure the crawlers are allowed in, which is the GEO work most trades sites have never had done.
What if I only work in one local area?
That is an advantage. Local is exactly where a one-page site wins. We make it obvious what you do and which towns you cover, so the right customers find you and you are not paying to compete across a whole county.
How much does a website for a tradesperson cost?
A standard site is a £99 one-off setup plus £29 a month, or £299 a year if you pay annually. That covers the website, your .co.uk domain, UK hosting, SSL and six content updates a year. Multi-page or shop builds are quoted to match.
How quickly can it go live?
Most sites are live within about five working days. You send your details, we design, write and build, and it goes live once you are happy. Your current Facebook page, if that is all you have, stays as it is until the new site is ready.
