Fast, professional websites for Felpham’s trades, shops and small businesses. Built by a Sussex designer, live in days, everything included, from £99.
Felpham has always been its own place, a village with a real history that happens to sit right next to Bognor Regis. For a local business that is a useful position: close enough to a busy town to catch the trade, distinct enough to stand out if your website says so clearly. Ours are built to do exactly that, and to keep working on the small screen where most people will find you. Everything included, live in about a week, from £99.
Around 9,746 people lived here at the 2011 census, a mix of long-standing residents, families and people drawn by the beach and the sailing. They search online before they ring anyone, and they trust a business that looks established and turns up when they look. A missing or dated website quietly hands that work to a competitor in Bognor or Middleton who simply showed up first in the results. That is a shame, because for most trades and small firms it is a fixable problem and a cheap one, and fixing it usually pays for itself with the first job or two it brings in.
You do not need to know anything technical, and you will not be left with logins to manage or a WordPress site to keep updated. Tell us what you do and where you work, and we design it, write it, sort your .co.uk domain, hosting, SSL and email, and keep it running afterwards with content updates through the year. Felpham is a fair distance from us in Hassocks, so we work with businesses here mostly by phone, email and video, visiting when it genuinely helps. We build for trades across the region, from heating engineers to electricians, so you get someone who understands the work and how local customers search for it.
On Your Doorstep
Felpham is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, sitting on the coast immediately east of Bognor Regis. The neighbouring development has blurred the edges over the years, and it is now sometimes counted as part of the greater Bognor Regis urban area, but it remains a parish in its own right with its own identity. It has a proper seafront, with a sailing club founded in 1955, beach huts and places to eat along the front, and the B2259 runs through as the coastal road. Middleton-on-Sea adjoins it to the east.
The history here is genuinely notable. The poet and artist William Blake lived in Felpham from 1800 to 1803, and it was here that he wrote the long poem Milton, whose preface became the words of the hymn Jerusalem. Blake’s Cottage still stands, and there is a memorial window to him in St Mary’s Church. The village goes back a great deal further than that too, appearing in a charter of King Eadred in 953 and in the Domesday Book, with the 12th-century parish church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. That is a genuine claim to fame most towns would love to have.
For a local business, that identity is worth leaning on rather than throwing away. A customer searching for a Felpham trade, or a visitor looking for somewhere near the beach, responds to a site that clearly belongs to the village rather than one that could be about anywhere on the coast. If your business gets folded into the wider Bognor listings and described in the same flat words as everyone else, you lose the one thing that makes you the obvious local choice. We write your site around the real place, so it reads as local, because it is, and that specificity is exactly what search engines reward.
The businesses we build for in Felpham are the everyday sort a village depends on: home and garden trades, beach and seafront businesses, health and wellbeing practitioners, and small independents. Whatever yours is, the site’s job is to load quickly, look right on a phone, say plainly what you do and where you cover, and make getting in touch as easy as one tap. That is what turns a curious search into an actual enquiry, and it is what we build every Felpham site to do, rather than handing you something pretty that never brings in a single call.
Also covering: Bognor Regis, Middleton-on-Sea, Aldwick, Elmer, North Bersted, Yapton and the surrounding villages.
