Fast, professional websites for Durrington’s trades, shops and small businesses. Built by a Sussex designer, live in days, everything included.
Durrington is part of Worthing now, but it still works like its own place, with its own trades, shops and one-person firms serving the streets around the A27. Page Forge builds those businesses a proper website: quick to load, clear to read on a phone, and set up to turn a local Google search into a phone call. Everything is included, and most sites are live in about a week from £99.
A lot of the work here comes from people looking for someone nearby. They search, they glance at the first few results, and they ring whoever looks established and close. If your business has no website, or one that was thrown together years ago, that job quietly goes to a competitor in central Worthing or along the coast at Goring. A tidy, fast site levels that out.
You do not need to understand any of the technical side. Tell us what you do and where you cover, and we handle the design, the words, your .co.uk domain, the hosting and the upkeep afterwards. We work with businesses right across the Worthing area and wider Sussex, from tradespeople like BW Electrical to builders like Sindall, so you get someone who answers the phone rather than a ticket number.
On Your Doorstep
Durrington sits about two and a half miles north-west of Worthing town centre, just off the A27, and it has been a settlement far longer than the modern housing suggests. Historically part of Sussex, in the old rape of Bramber, it was recorded as a Saxon estate in 934, when King Athelstan granted some of the land to one of his thegns. By the Domesday survey of 1086 it was held by Robert le Sauvage, lord of nearby Broadwater. The name itself means roughly “Deora’s farmstead”, after an early Saxon settler, whose people also held distant grazing land up in the Weald.
There has been a place of worship on the site of St Symphorian’s Church for around a thousand years. The church was partly destroyed in 1643, during the English Civil War, by Roundhead soldiers, after the Royalist vicar had reportedly tried to rally support among his parishioners, and it stood ruined until a new church was finally built in 1915 using some of the original stones. Details like that are not just trivia. They are the kind of specific, true local reference that makes a website read as though it genuinely comes from Durrington rather than from an agency template.
Durrington was still a village of barely more than a thousand people in the early 20th century, and it stopped being its own parish in 1929, when it was merged into the borough of Worthing. Today it splits into the Durrington and Castle wards, with West Durrington the newer end, and it sits in the Worthing West constituency. It also runs its own community life: the Durrington Festival has been going since 1992, a week of events that ends with a carnival and fireworks at Pond Lane Recreation Park. The nearest station is Durrington-on-Sea, which keeps the area connected along the coast and up to the A27.
For a local business, all of that matters more than it looks. When someone types “plumber Durrington” or “near me” into Google, the results lean on where a business actually is and how well its site is built. We write your pages so they clearly belong to Durrington and the Worthing area, set up your Google Business Profile, and make sure the whole thing loads fast on the phone most of your customers will be using.
Also covering: Worthing, Goring-by-Sea, Salvington, High Salvington, Broadwater, Findon Valley and the surrounding villages.
