West Sussex covers everything from Crawley and Gatwick to the coast at Worthing. This page is the hub; we point you to focused SEO for your town. From £99.
West Sussex is a big, varied county, and SEO here is really a collection of local jobs rather than one. Crawley and Gatwick in the north-east work nothing like the coast at Worthing or the market town of Horsham. What they share is that customers search locally: by town, by area, by “near me”. We do focused local SEO for businesses right across West Sussex, one clear price from £99, no monthly lock-in.
This page is a hub. The real work always happens at town level, because that is how people search and how Google ranks. So rather than pretend one county-wide page covers it, we build a focused page and a focused strategy for each place. We research the words your local customers use, write them into your pages, add the structured data Google reads, and get your Google Business Profile working for your specific area.
We are based at Hassocks, on the eastern edge of the county, and work across it by phone, video and visits where they help. It is the same work that put this site on the map for its own terms. For the eastern half, see our SEO across East Sussex.
On Your Doorstep
West Sussex is a ceremonial county in the South East, bordered by Surrey, East Sussex, Hampshire and the English Channel, with a population of around nine hundred thousand. Its largest settlement is Crawley, and its biggest towns sit either on the coast, at Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing, or inland at Crawley and Horsham, with the cathedral city of Chichester in the south-west. The South Downs cross the whole county from east to west, dividing the rural interior from the coastal strip, which widens westward into Chichester Harbour. Gatwick Airport sits in the north-east, and the county is dotted with stately homes and castles, from Goodwood and Petworth to Arundel Castle, as well as Roman remains like Fishbourne Palace and Stane Street.
That geography is why one SEO approach cannot cover the county. A financial services firm in Worthing, a supplier on Manor Royal in Crawley, a solicitor in Horsham and a shop in Arundel are all chasing completely different searches. The county is also administratively split into seven districts, and it even absorbed the Mid Sussex towns of Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and East Grinstead from East Sussex back in 1974. People here identify with their town, not the county line.
So we treat West Sussex as what it is: a set of local markets that happen to share a name. This page ties them together, but the ranking is won town by town. Find the place you actually serve and start there.
Whichever part of the county you are in, there is a focused page for it: SEO in Crawley, Horsham, Worthing and East Grinstead, among others. Start with your town, not the county. For web work, see web design across West Sussex.
Also covering: Crawley, Horsham, Worthing, Chichester, East Grinstead and the surrounding villages.
