Websites for sports clubs run by volunteers, not web experts.

Fixtures, membership and volunteer sign-ups in one clear place, without a committee member becoming the unpaid webmaster.

A grassroots sports club runs on goodwill. Volunteers give up evenings and weekends, and the last thing anyone needs is a website that only one person understands and nobody can update when they move away. Yet a club’s website is often the first thing a prospective member, a parent or an opposing team looks at. They want to know when you train, how to join, where the ground is and whether the club looks active and welcoming. Your website should make the club easy to join and easy to find, without turning a committee member into an unpaid webmaster.

So we keep it clear and low-maintenance. Fixtures and results people can actually find, a straightforward way to enquire about joining or trials, and an honest “we need you” section for volunteers, because every club is short of coaches, helpers and committee hands. Add your training times, your ground with a map, your affiliations and a few photos that show the club as it really is, and you have a site that recruits members and volunteers around the clock.

Most clubs are well served by a fast single-page site with fixtures, joining info and a volunteer call-out, live in about five working days from £99, and with a real person to call rather than a faceless platform. If your club is large, with many teams, junior sections and a members’ area or online subscription payments, that’s a bigger build and we quote it per project. We can also point you at league or governing-body tools where they already do a job well, so you’re not paying us to reinvent them.

The classic club-website mistakes are worth naming, because nearly every club has made at least one. A site only one volunteer can update, which goes stale the moment they step back. Contact details that point to a committee member who left two seasons ago, so genuine joining enquiries vanish. And no clear ask for the help the club actually needs, whether that’s players, coaches or someone to run the line. We build the opposite: a site we keep current for you, with a real point of contact, joining made simple and volunteering given its own honest shout, so the website works as hard for the club as the volunteers do.

What your website needs to bring in work

calendar_month

Fixtures & results

Upcoming games and recent results where members, parents and rival teams can find them. Where your league already publishes fixtures, we can link straight to them instead of duplicating the work.

group_add

New member sign-ups

A simple way to enquire about joining, trials or taster sessions, landing with the right person on the committee. Making it easy to join is how a club grows season on season.

volunteer_activism

Volunteer recruitment

Every club needs coaches, helpers and committee hands. An honest call-out for volunteers, with a way to raise a hand, turns the website into a recruiting tool for the people who keep the club running.

schedule

Training times & venue

When and where you train and play, with a map to the ground. Half the questions a club secretary fields are “where are you and when?”, so we answer them up front.

verified

Affiliations & safeguarding

Your county FA, league or governing-body affiliation and your safeguarding stance, shown plainly. Parents in particular look for this before they let a child join.

payments

Subs & members’ area (bigger build)

Online subscription payments and a members-only area are genuinely more than a one-pager. If you need them, we’ll quote that per project so you only pay for what the club uses.

Three steps. That’s it.

No jargon, no committees, no six-week timelines. We get your area businesses online fast.

Common questions

Who updates the site when our committee changes?
We do, so it never depends on one volunteer who might move on. You email us the change, a new fixture list, a fresh contact, updated training times, and we make it. No logins to hand over, no half-finished admin panel that only the last web-savvy member understood. This is the single biggest reason club sites go stale: they’re built by one keen volunteer, and when that person steps back nobody can touch it. With us the site stays current no matter who’s on the committee this season.
Can we show our fixtures and results?
Yes. We can list them on the site, and where your league or governing body already publishes a live fixtures feed, we can link straight to it so you’re not typing everything twice. The aim is for members and visiting teams to find the next game in seconds, without ringing round. Plenty of grassroots leagues run their fixtures through a central platform already, and it makes no sense to duplicate that by hand, so we point people to it and keep your own site focused on joining, training and the club itself.
We really need more volunteers. Can the site help?
It can, and it should. Most clubs bury the fact they’re short of coaches and helpers. We give volunteering its own clear section with a simple way to put a hand up, so the website quietly recruits the people who keep the club going. Being specific helps: “we need a junior coach on Saturday mornings” gets a far better response than a vague plea for help. Parents of players are often your best source of volunteers, and a clear ask on the site is exactly how you reach them.
Can members pay subscriptions online?
They can, but online payments and a members-only area are more than the standard one-page site. That’s a bigger build with accounts and a payment provider, so we quote it per project. Plenty of clubs start with a simple site and add this later once it’s clearly worth it. Some leagues and governing bodies also offer membership and subscription tools as part of their affiliation, and where they do we’ll point you to them rather than build something you’re already paying for. The aim is always the least hassle and cost for the club.
What do parents look for before letting a child join?
Reassurance, mostly: that the club is properly affiliated, takes safeguarding seriously, and has clear training times and a real point of contact. We put your affiliations, safeguarding stance and joining details up front, so a parent feels confident before they ever pick up the phone. A named welfare officer, your county FA or governing-body affiliation and a friendly line about how new players are welcomed all do a lot of quiet work here. Parents are trusting you with their child’s Saturday mornings, and the site should earn that trust straight away.
